Christmas Traditions and Memories

What Christmas traditions do you and your family have?
For my children they have traditions everywhere.
In our own home we have our own traditions and then with their grandparents they have their traditions.

Like with my mom who makes the sugar cookie dough and then the kids cut out, bake and decorate cookies.
They get to decorate anyway they want with colorful frosting and festive sprinkles.
This year they decorated with oranges, pinks, purples, blues, reds and greens.
Although Ninja thought the blues were just for him!

Little Hulk just enjoyed eating the cookies plain...

At my mother-in-laws my children make and decorate a Christmas ornament every year.
After the ornaments dry they add them to the tree that has ornaments their Daddy made years ago.
As the mom it is fun to go find their old ornaments on my MIL's tree to see how my kids tastes and sizes (hand print ornaments) have changed.
This year the kids decorated some wooden ornaments my SIL bought at Hobby Lobby.

Boy does her hair look red here...

For us at our home we do a little bit of it all.
We bake cookies, make ornaments and draw Christmas pictures.
The kids also each get a Christmas ornament that represents the last year for them.
The memories the kids are making with their grandparents are priceless and will last them a lifetime.
Much longer than the sugar cookies last on my hips or at least I hope much longer. ;)
