I hope all of you are having a wonderful
July 4th weekend.
We have stayed pretty busy this so far.
Friday we took the kids to the zoo and became members
so I can now go whenever they get to restless.
Pictures of that adventure to come soon.
Saturday I decided to get crafty.
I saw this idea over at Oopsey Daisy
who was featuring Sweet C's Designs
adorable worn wood flag.
I just so happened to have some of the materials so I
threw this little gem together in
maybe 30 minutes.
I think it turned out great and very country rustic.
Which is what I was going for.
Materials Needed:
1 wood pallet or wood boards to put together
Red White and Blue paint
White spray paint for stars
Patience if you have small helpers.
My little helpers...
I ended up having to repaint the stripes since I did them backwards.
Don't tell my helpers I painted over their hard work.
;)
Sitting pretty in my yard.
I hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July and get to see some incredible
fireworks displays.
It is still up in the air whether I will be going into Boston
to watch the Boston Pops and the fireworks there.
Happy 4th to you too! I love the flag! I will have to try it with the kids next year. I will add it to my pinterest!
