I was recently able to watch a sneak peak of the movie
Mighty Fine starring Andie MacDowell and Chaz Palminteri.
I really enjoyed watching the preview in the comfort of my own
home and being able to "chat" with the other ladies watching the movie
without fear of being kicked out of a theater.
Mighty Fine is a movie about about a family who moves
from Brooklyn to New Orleans.
The father Joe Fine is an absolute ticking time bomb.
While I believe that he loves his family he hurts them often
with his explosive temper and then wild spending.
I related to this movie so much because I remember
growing up the feeling of walking on egg shells.
While my situation was different I could relate
to the daughters in the movie.
The movie comes out May 25th in select cities.

For my Boston readers the movie will be playing at
the AMC Liberty Tree theater.
After the movie was over we got a chance to have a Q&A with
two of the actors, Chaz Palminteri and Jodelle Ferland.
I enjoyed hearing the actors thoughts on playing their
roles in the film.
One thing that stuck with me is something Chaz Palminteri said
When asked what the message of the film was he replied,
"For me the message was whatever your issues are don't
take it out on the kids
Always be careful what you say and do in front of your
children."
Chaz Palminteri during our Q&A.
