Day 19 of 30

Day 19 – a talent of yours

A talent? I don't really think I have a talent per say.
I can not do anything extraordinary.

I think I have a calling in life but no talent so lets just go with my calling.
I think my calling in life is children and I don't just mean having them.
It takes a lot of patience to be with children on a daily basis that are your own
let alone other people's children.

I love children.
I love working with children!
I love watching their little faces when they just get it!
Whether it is sitting up by themselves, riding a bike, reading or a hard math problem.

I think working with children and shaping their lives is one of the most rewarding jobs and stressful jobs any person could have.
Not just the stay at home parents but the teachers, librarians, bus drivers, pediatricians, principals, church nursery workers, youth pastors.
The list could go on and on.

I'll leave you with this quote that I think is so true!

"A hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank...but the world may be a better place because I made a difference in the life of a child." -- Forest Witchcraft

  1. Yah! Your in my dashboard again!!!!!!

    Haha...I wouldn't know what my talent is? Isn't it fun to do these things to think about yourself. Being a mom and wife we always put our personal thoughts on the back burner.
