I sat down yesterday with a few new reads on
my Kindle.
Some I have been waiting months for.
When I opened the book yesterday it wasn't what I
normally read, it wasn't something that I normally buy.
It was however, something that I needed to read.
it is something that I believe a lot of people should read.
This story needs to be told for many reasons.
I am just glad that not only was it told but that it was published as well
so that others may read profound words and experiences
that this Airman lived through.
I found out about this book from my brother who worked with the author
at some point during their Air Force careers.
I am so thankful to my brother for passing along the Facebook page link
not knowing that his media friendly sister would get a hold of this and run with it.
And Then I Cried: Stories of a Mortuary NCO
is written by Justin Jordan and gives his real life
hold nothing back story of doing his job as he lived it.
The book is honest, real, funny, sad and will make you angry.
Right now it is available to purchase on
It will be available in print later this year.
Since I love this story and believe that as many people as possible should
read it I am self hosting an E-Book giveaway.
I am giving away 3 copies of the book in YOUR choice format.
Entered, tweeted and liked the FB page.
