Hunger Games....

The day has finally arrived.
The games are beginning and I can't wait.
What I can't wait is to see it again!
I went to a screening on Monday afternoon
and have had the hardest time not shouting to the world
HOW AMAZING THE MOVIE WAS!!!

Can you tell how much I enjoyed it?
The movie was done perfectly.
The fans of the book will be happy
and the fans of the movie will be equally as happy.
I went with my husband who has not read
any of the books
(GASP I know)
and he enjoyed the movie and didn't have too many
questions like he always does when I
force him to watch that other series.

Possible SPOILER:

My only complaint with the movie was
that I could have seen more in the arena.
I do realize however why they did the movie the way they did.
And it was pretty cool watching
the game's play-makers in action.
Some of the actors that I thought maybe would not
pull off the roles were amazing.

Woody Harrelson as Haymitch

and honestly I wasn't sure about

Lenny Kravitz as Cinna
But he was amazing and now I want gold eyeliner
in my makeup bag.

Of course the main three characters were
great from the beginning for me.
Jennifer Lawrence did an amazing job as Katniss
Josh Hutcherson was a great Peeta
Liam Hemsworth was great as Gale

I am going to watch the movie again tonight
with a friend of mine and I can not
wait to watch it again and not have to be thinking about
critiquing it later.

Are you going to see the movie?
Have you read the books or does the trailer entice you?

HAPPY HUNGER GAMES....

MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR!

  1. Too fun! My 7th grader went with a group of friends (almost the entie 7th grade class including teachers) to the midnight show (this morning). I was all set to read the first book and my highschool daughter announced she loaned to her bff for spring break! Are you kidding me!

I hope I still like Stanley Tucci after the movie :0) laura

  2. Good review. Maybe The Hunger Games is going to be the one young adult franchise that really lives up to the hype. Thankfully, it’s no Twilight- meaning that future installments will actually be something to look forward to and there won’t be any mopey romance angles. Fancy that! Check out my review when you can.
